Vice President for Resource Development
Amy Kühn is the Vice President for Resource Development for the San Diego Democrats for Equality.
Born in San Diego and raised in northwestern Montana, Amy has spent her career in the non-profit and political worlds. Starting in 2011, Amy worked in the Correspondence Department of the Clinton Foundation in New York City, eventually serving as the Manager of Writing and Correspondence. In 2015, she left the non-profit to serve as the Deputy Director of Correspondence at Hillary for America, Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign. In 2018, Amy served as Political Director for Sara Jacobs for Congress in California’s 49th District.
Amy received her B.A. in Global Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she was a four-year member of the UCSB Rowing Team. She also holds an Advanced Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
Amy and her wife, Erin, live in North Park with their cat, Viva.
