2021 ADEM Elections

Democrats for Equality,

ADEM (Assembly District Election Meetings) elections are held every two years and are an opportunity for us to elect delegates — 7 female-identified, and 7 other-than-female-identified — from each Assembly District to the California Democratic Party’s State Central Committee.

This year, due to the coronavirus, ADEM elections are happening in a more virtual atmosphere. If you’d like to vote in the ADEM elections, please register for a ballot at this link BEFORE Monday, January 11th.

We have a number of club members running in each Assembly District, and those listed in bold are current or past members of our executive board, including:

AD 71: Ryan Darsey (Club VP), Zach Bunshaft, and Robert Grand

AD 75: Ross Pike, Neil Kramer, and Justin Domecillo

AD 76: Cori Schumacher and Rob Howard

AD 77: Darshana Patel, Indroneal Banerjee, Aleena Nawabi,and Ehab Shehata

AD 78: Jess Durfee (Club President Emeritus), Josie Caballero,Katie Meyer, Carol Kim, Gretchen Newsom, Rick Bates, and Maya Rosas

AD 79: Shane Parmely (Club At-Large member), Temika Cook,Tiffany Gonzalez, Nadia Kean-Ayub, Andrea Beth Damsky, David Myers,LaWana Richmond, and Dan Shook-Castillo

AD 80: Rickie Brown (Club Sgt-at-Arms), Georgette Gomez (former Club VP), Kate Bishop, Brenda Aguirre, Ricardo Ochoa, and Rafael Perez
